A dry day for a change for the Training Session at Penrith Golf Hub. The County Ladies Squad were put through their paces with Andrew Pickering, working on short game pin challenge outside and wedge accuracy.  Lee in the SAM put lab, perfecting putting techniques, posture and putter alignment. Foursomes Practice Monday 1st April

The weather didn’t deter the County Squad today practicing foursomes at Penrith Golf Club.  There was fun and laughter despite being drowned.
The pairings swapped around after nine to give everyone the chance to get to know each others games.  Really well done fantastic Team Spirit, great day and good laugh.  Thanks to Val County Vice for keeping the supplies of goodies and thanks to Linda County President for the Easter Eggs.
Many thanks to Penrith Golf Club for the use of the course and to Ricki and Nicola once again for great food and looking after us all day.

Can’t wait for the next practice foursomes and our Friendly match against Northumberland at Brampton 7th April and 13th April against Carlisle’s men’s team.
Brilliant day, great pairings and good golf very well done to you all👏👏👏

Saturday 23rd April

The County Ladies with The County Vets against The County Senior Men at Penrith Golf Club.

Our first friendly match of the season in very challenging conditions.  Singles matches played in pairs to get round in daylight.
A fantastic day enjoyed by all, brilliant atmosphere and a lot of banter in the groups.  The men were victorious but the Ladies put up a very strong challenge.
A new format this year but may be continued in the future.
Very well done to all.
Thank you to Penrith Golf Club for hosting this event and thanks to Fairways Bar and Catering for looking after us all.
