Practise Match -v- Carlisle Men

The team consisted of Alyson Wood (Furness), Rebecca McIntyre, Sue Cotter, Doreen Turnbull, Nicola Tebbutt (Carlisle),  Alex Stamper (Penrith), Jo Tinsley (Appleby), Tracy Teasdale (Eden).

Juniors: Stephanie Maxey (Carlisle) and Chloe Atkinson (Penrith)

The first practise match of the season started with the squad playing against Carlisle Men. The squad were joined by two County Junior players, Stephanie Maxey (Carlisle) and Chloe Atkinson (Penrith), who had the only positive result for the team. The match was played in its usual format of four ball better ball match play, and the course played extremely well for the time of year with perfect spring-like weather conditions.
