FIRST COUNTY
TRAINING DAY
held at
CARLISLE GOLF CLUB
We had a productive day of theory and practical. Niki
Tebbutt, our Training Officer,
and Graeme Lyle proposed dietary needs
and exercise. We then
loosened up on the driving range. After lunch, competitions were held
for
chipping, bunker play and putting. Hannah Smith coming top in getting up
and down in two, Alyson Wood top of the putting and
Mel Temple top
of the bunker play.
We are to have a competition based on performance
statistics during all
County matches
and match week and the rules were discussed.
Rebecca Edwards (ex County Squad member) arrived with
baby, Finlay, which was a great surprise but I couldn't tempt her to
swing a club while she was there.
